Survey of Memory sticks used on Sony 8000 desks

Can I ask everyone to simply tell each other here what make and size of memory stick you use on the Sony 8000 desk please? I've heard many different do's and don'ts (not too big, not too small, not Sony, etc)...should we just get a cheapo or invest in the best. Also it would be good to hear generally how reliable everone's choices are!

I also use a Kingston 4Gb Traveller. Once in a while, it is not recognized when plugged into the panel so I just do a USB refresh and then it is fine.
My colleague uses a memory stick and prefers it over a USB thumbdrive.

I've been using a SanDisk 'cruzer micro' 4GB USB for a few years now. I also have a few 2GB PNY USB sticks that I use, too. Haven't had any trouble with either.
I know you've been using your memory stick for a while now, but maybe try hitting Page 9994 ... there is a non-volitile memory test that you can run to help determine if your USB stick will work with the Sony infrastructure.

Ive been using a Kingston DataTraveler 4GB for a few years, and generally its been fine, but starting to not save things now.

I have routinely used Flash Voyager 16 GB drives with no problems. I have recently started using Cruiser 64 GB drives, again with no problems.
I use 2gb and 4gb M2 cards in a Sandisk memory stick adapter, never had a problem. Other switchers have had had problems with USB thumb drives so I'm sticking to memory stick based cards.
