Hello All,

Happy Valntines Day.

It's a sad state when I'm using this day to ask about SWITCHER stuff... Now you know where my true love lies...

ANYWAYS..

I'm scheduled to do a show on the KayakDD next weekend... It's not a huge show-- in fact it's a show for my Alma Mattre.... In any event, I don't wanna be totally stupid when I show up to use the thing...

I'm SUPER familiar with the DD35 and XtenDD, but have never even touched the KayakDD other than at NAB-- could anyone enlighten me with the simmilarites and/or differences between the two?

I understand that the Side Pannel has to be connected to the Switcher, and that that is not a STANDARD thing... is that just as easy as putting some software on a laptop and networking the two together? Is that something I could do with my goofy Windows 98 Sony Vaio?

How about Macros? Timelines?

Anything I SHOULD know?
