Kalypso fader bar issue?

I had a problem the other night on NMT's DX 16 (newly installed Kalypso but running 14.0.1) during which M/E 3 became unreliable for manual dissolves using the M/E 3 fader bar.

I hadn't had a noticible problem all day, but we took three successive power hits (shore power from the stadium) about 45 minutes prior to the show. Everything appeared to wake up normally following the hits but, once we began rehearsing, I realized that it would frequently not dissolve in M/E 3. It may work once, twice or seven times, but then not work - not even crack a tally to the next source at times. I repeatedly worked the fader bar offline thinking it may have been cracked between buses but that wasn't it. I thought it might be a calibration issue but ruled that out thinking that a calibration issue would give me the same result each time. And when it did work it felt almost sluggish. Like it was waiting for the prosessor to catch up. The same function in all other M/Es worked fine. I rebooted at the first opportunity but to no avail.

For the record I had M/E 3 (as well as all M/Es) in Split mode and I had a macro post-attached to the PGM side of buttons 1, 2 & 3. Any ideas? A fried section of the M/E 3 board maybe?
