Orad Elefant and Forum

Is anybody familur with a video disk recorder called a "Forum" with a external controller call a "Elefant" both made by a company called named Orad.  I am having some issues with getting the Forum to boot.   It gets to the point where it says its starting to load the "mf" then "nedd 2nd pass" and finally "fatal error restart forum".  The machine is several years old at least and the company is unwilling to provide us with any tech support for it.Thanks
