During the US/England World Cup match today British network ITV cut to a commercial as the Brits scored their goal.

 

British oddsmakers were taking bets on the network making a mistake like this.

 

Reminds me about how I was working vacation relief at a station and the evening supervisor was told that he would be the one in master for the last episode of "Seinfeld". (NBC affiliate) The problem was the supervisor rarely worked master and was the weakest person. Management insisted and sure enough, he messed up at least one commercial break and one bug insert.
