8K and machine control looping

Hi I was wondering if you use machine control with an 8K, seems like Louth is the only protocol besides BVW that it will do. Wondering how this would work with looping clips, sure it is great for transitions but, can you do looping clips and clips with active heads that then need a bed looped? Maybe this is more of a Louth question but protocols such as odetics, support all of these features, I have no idea about Louth.
Any thoughts..
