Kalypso machine conrol of 360 server

I am running a 360 server thru the kalypso using odectics protocol. When I enter a "cue to mark" in my timeline, and run my effect, I get a flash of black, even if i cue into the video as my "in point". How do I correct this.
Also How do I make a loop of video without losing machine control. It seems the 360 server will only loop when not in serial control.
