As stated the Remote control panel is not responding:

Yes, I have checked power, and connectivity.

The main unit will still work through a switcher, but no new pages can be created.

Since Accom is not answering their phone, I have tried sending email, but no response yet, has anyone else seen this?, and how did it get resolved.

Thank you in advance.

The new CPU board in the remote panel worked. It was an easy fix no soldering. Done in less than 15 minutes.

After finally getting thorugh to tech support they told me it looks like we have a bad CPU board in the remote panel. This has been ordered and when I receive it, I will let everyone know if this fixes the problem.

John, no, I am not a employee, no worry. I thought it is maybe good to reflect with what kind of stellar economical performance Accom distinguished itself over the years - before starting into any new project.

Hi KCNC_Denver! Does the remote panel boot up when you switch its power on? - If it does, perhaps someone has disabled your panel on your mainframe. Try pressing the "Acquire"-Button in the system buttons area. Normally the panel should connect to the mainframe now. If it doesn't, hold down the "Acquire"-button and the first softkey on the left side next to the LCD should let you enable the mainframe you are connected to. I hope it works... otherwise, post another message! Chris from Cologne!

BillIt1, were you an employee? Do I know you? Abekas.com is now officially up and running (I just put the file up there myself, actually).

IMPORTANT TRANSLATION The value of the company for some reason just descended down into the range of our yearly paycheck which for another reason did not descend. To us, this does not sound like viable business. It was fun, while we got financed, but now it is time to jump into the lifeboat and sail away. We will be back soon though. ;)

When you wrote that no one was answering the phone, I just had to check the accom.com website... It looks like a new company has been formed... Your DVEous will once again be an Abekas product, in name anyway. >>> From the accom.com site: IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT Accom, Inc. has ceased all operations effective September 27, 2005. Accom filed for a liquidating Chapter 11 on August 19, 2005 and that plan was confirmed by the court on September 27, 2005. (In re Accom, Inc., U.S. Bankruptcy Court, N.D. California, Case No.: 05-32680-DM). Proceeds from the liquidation were distributed to Accom?s creditors; there was no distribution to Accom?s shareholders and the Bankruptcy Court cancelled all outstanding shares, options and warrants. Technical Support for all Accom products is available through a new corporation, Abekas, Inc., established by Junaid Sheikh and Phil Bennett. (Abekas, Inc., 1430-D O?Brien Drive, Menlo Park, CA 94025; 650.470.0900 phone; 650.470.0913 fax; support@abekas.com)
