what is going on in the director's head when they look at you and ask "Why aren't we hearing the Fast Forward??"

My response was "Maybe we should ask the A1?"

Which brought a look of "Thanks for proving to the world that I can't think..."

I do a live event gig where the video control room is, unfortunately, right backstage and people try to walk in and hand us their wireless mics when they're done with them. I can't just take them because by the end of the show we're gonna end up with a pile of mics in the video control room and a guy on stage with no way to hear him.

I actually had a production manager (they take care of incoming remotes here) recently say something to me about a correspondents audio.. I responded I just do video up here, try the audio guy... I really hope it was just a slip up..
