My Post house is considering an HD Linear Bay. I'm an old 2020 guy and really don't want to learn the Sony, but I can't find any 3000's (or whatever the latest 24P editor is) to give them any prices. Anyone know of any for sale (or where to
look)?

Thanks...It would have been Anderson Video...Now I'm at Post Logic, but it looks like they are considering closing down the SD bay....I also run HD on Fire and iQ, but I've always been partial to the Axial. If you hear of anything....... Thanks, Jeff

Glad to help, Jeff. You know, so many name are so familiar! Where did I train you? Where are you now? Not sure what a used Axial would go for, these days, actually. The last new price was about $48K with 24p option and live video. -JH

Hi Jeff, Hmmm. . . we have an [url=http://editsuite.com/advt/detail.php?cat=1&de=3082]Axial 3000 listed in our Used Gear[/url] section but it's from several months ago. Not sure if they (happens to be a former employer of mine, actually) still have it or not. There are also several resellers listed in that section of our site, too. And, since Abekas is now an official company, you might even give them a call: (650) 470-0900 and see what is happening with the Axial. Good luck.
