On the Kalypso control panel do you label the buttons where you attach macros to? If so, what do you use? Just wondering what others do. On the DD-35 you had the LED display for names, that was much easier then tape or sticky labels.

I know a college of mine uses empty sources 70s-80s and then attaches them to shift buttons. He then displays both unshifted and shifted sources in the displays to show where his macros are.

Dave, I just write on those - I make little symbols for some of my Macros - I know what they are but anyone else would look at me like I'm crazy. :-) Actually, can't figure out how to print on the tiny Avery's - not defined in my printer settings for labels. If I could make a spreadsheet for that, now that would be cool!

John Do you run your labels through a printer or do you hand write them? Question: If you print your labels and you don't use a whole sheet for a show do you have to throw away the rest of the sheet or is there a way to print the remaining labels?

Mike, I've been using the Avery 1/4" labels for those, too - they fit almost perfectly on most Kalypso buttons (especially the Key buses if you attach up there) and peel off pretty cleanly which makes for happier EICs. These labels are nearly impossible to find (at least where I live) so I just order in bulk off of the Avery website since I go through a couple of sheets per show. I've also seen some pretty creative concoctions for identifying Macro attachments - everything from standard paper tape, to the rough side of a small piece of velcro to signify an attached "RUN" button ... whatever works, right Joey A?!? Mike, hope this helps! John
