Hi,

I'm interesting to know if it's possible with DD35 to control a matrix with effects or macros or any other possibility to use this to entry signals and changed it in live it's necessary. I need to use a matrix because I has enough entry in the mixer.

Thank you,

Enric

Enric, it is only possible with the Thomson router. If that is what you have (and, of course, if engineering has it hooked up this way) you control what is put into your routable sources (called "external auxes") in one of two ways. Using the Ext Aux busses on the control panel you can select what you want as you go. This method simply prevents you from having to reach over to a router control panel to make your changes and is probably fewer button pushes. The method you are looking for, TimE/Memo control, is accomplished in the "TimE/Memo Define Memo" menu. If you go to that menu and look towards the bottom right you will see "Extern Aux" with a group of numbered "buttons" below it. If you want to change what is routed into Ext Aux 7 when recalling a particular emem, simply have ExtAux 7 highlighted when you store the effect. If you have the proper options purchased and installed, your control panel will also display the name of the source routed in to each ext aux. Make sure you are involved with the engineering staff when they set things up, as the name displayed will be the same one they assign in the router matrix. Sean

Hello, Only it's possible with the Thomson router? And in this case how it's work? What procedure must I do to work with the router? Thank you for your patience, Enric

Enric, it is possible if you have the Thomson router. Is that what you are using? (it may be under the Philips banner, if its old enough). Sean

enric, does matrix mean routing switcher? If so, what brand router? Am I correct that you want to be able to use a router to feed an input of the DD-35 because you have too many sources?
