Is there such a thing as a battery backup modification to the Ram Recorder board?

Thanks

There are two possibilities: 1) You have a "modified" or "newer" Frame with a LAN and power backup cable inside. You can see them if you open the door. There you have then 3 cables. Two LAN cables (one to the controller RY 3490 and one for the ram-rec. RY 3050) and a D-Sub 9 connector for the power backup (to RY 3050). Then you can use the connector at the back of the frame called DC-IN. You will find it beside the LAN-connectors. 2) You have a frame without this cables. Then you have to use the D-Sub-9 connector direct on the board (RY 3050). You need 6-8V up to 300 mA . The pinout of the p-pin D-type female is: Pin 1 - Chassis Ground Pin 2 - Reserved Pin 3 - Reserved Pin 4 - DC Ground You need! Pin 5 - DC In You need! Pin 6 - DC Ground You need! Pin 7 - Reserved Pin 8 - Reserved Pin 9 - Chassis Ground Best regrads
