I was wondering if anyone can tell me if the 7350 has shift lock so that a person can 'shift lock' an ME panel. I have to work a show that will have 25 cameras and eleven EVS sources. there will also be clocks and graphics. I would like to be able to shift lock but can't remember if you can on the 7350. Also.. How many inputs is the 7350 - 64 isn't it? And 36 cross points? Thanks...
Sorry for the late answer. On the menu panel: Set-up/operation/shift lock; there are three modes, OFF, ON and HOLD. I can't remember the difference between ON and HOLD, but if you put it ON, it should give you what you want. Mike is right, there are 36 inputs. Good luck with your show. JP
JP's hit it on the head there. If you select ON the shift preference will follow what you have selected on that bus after a transition is completed. i.e. if you had the A bus shifted and the B bus unshifted, when you perform the transition the B bus will become shifted and the A bus will become unshifted - the Shift preference flip flops. If you have HOLD selected, the shift preferences stays on but doesn't flip flop when a transition is completed. Brian

Zach, my manual has no info on a shift lock function. My book is v.3.30 maybe it was added at a later time. As far as inputs, all I know is that you have 36 inputs UNLESS you have a Sony router that then can give you 60 inputs. You may be sub-switching unless I am terribly wrong.
