Hello All,

Happy Pre-Superbowl weekend!

So, I've got this "neat" new problem. One of our freelance TDs was building his board today, and made some macros to call up DVE effects.

Turns out when he executed these macros, if a timeline was called up in ME1, the execution of the macro would TRIGGER ME1 to play.

Of course, I thought, "Oh, he put an ME 1 Play trigger in the recall macro by accident".

Um... No.

I went down and built a similar macro, and every time I pressed the ME 1 would play...

Any chance that something can become attached to the PAUSE==>0.1 button????????

Color me confused...

Scotty A.

Scotty, Uh, when you say Nate, you don't mean Nathan Yancey has returned as a freelancer, do you? If so, say hello for me. Mike

Hi Scotty, I agree, sounds like macro attachment. Have you tried to delete the attachment? Press and hold the macro "delete" button down, then press and hold down the suspected attachment (was it "pause 0.1?) until you hear the beep. This should delete the attachment if it was attached as a pre-macro, I believe (though I am dyslexic in this realm). or: Press and hold the suspected macro attachment button down, then press and hold down the macro "delete" button until you hear the beep. This would be the deletion process for "post macros" (Again, unless I have it backwards, but you get the idea). At this point the attachment should be gone. The following won't help, because I know you don't have the XtenDD software, but you can delete macro attachments (please forgive me, I'm not in front of a switcher) on the Config page, by pressing clear content--->Mcr Attachment--->"Yes", or something to that effect.

thanks for the reply-- unfortunately the Software version we have doesn't support the "viewing attached macros" function... Damn the old software!! AHH!! (We don't have a macro editor either... mmmmmrrr)

First thing that comes to my mind is a macro got attached to that button by accident. Look in your sidepanel under Config -> Panel -> Attached Macros and check that there isn't anything attached to that button.
