Hello... This has probably been asked before...

Is there a way of running the menu software on a PC? I guess it is LINUX based, so is there a chance to get it to work if my PC is running LINUX?

Sony is absoiutely paranoid about security, and frankly I din't blame them. You can't just connect anywhere anytime like you can on the Kalypso. You can use the menu system on any PC but it dones't really do anything other than let you play with the menus. To actually connect and do something you have to have installed (and ourchased) their System Manager software/hardware option for the MVS. I have the e-mail of a Sony switcher guy. You might try him to see if you can get the menu software.... stacy.rothwell@am.sony.com RE
