Hello Editsuite.com friends,

Due to tons of abuse, we now require that you request user access by sending us your Login, Name, Email Address, Phone Number, and Profession by submitting that info HERE.  I'll review your request and try to get back to you within the week.  You can't imagine how many folk want to trash forums with bogas advertising.

Also, please help us gain enough Facebook "Likes" to have a custom Facebook URL!

Umm,

I have a question:

Who decides when a topic is closed?

I have, in fact, never seen a closed topic before now.

This particular topic in question had an outstanding post or two forthcoming (from parties on both sides of the debate).

Why do these posters not get a chance to continue the thread? (OK, so I have more than one question)

No hostilities were exchanged. Everything was, in fact, quite civil.

Were the blunt realities becoming too hard for certain parties to bear?

Did these certain parties pressure other parties to silence the dissenters?

Food for thought...

Neo, Mr. Anderson, Mr. Smith will see you now.

Hi Dave, Yeah, it's a first for me, here on Editsuite.com. I, your humble proprietor, get to choose when a topic is closed. I realize I should have added why I closed this particular topic, sorry. As most of you know, I do try to keep things here on the civilized side and step in when people resort to name calling or bashing without any real help to another professional or manufacturer. In this case there wasn't really much of that, per se. It was more that people were getting off topic and starting to rant a bit.
This particular topic in question had an outstanding post or two forthcoming (from parties on both sides of the debate).
Hmmm. . how are you able to see what posts are forthcoming? This is another reason I closed this topic. It seemed that there was some behind-the-scenes emailing and posturing that I don't want to have here.
Were the blunt realities becoming too hard for certain parties to bear? You know that I do keep it pretty open here for honest, truthful dialogue to happen, that's why you are all here. Ultimately, we are here to exchange information on the products we use. And that's what I thought was getting off topic and a bit outta hand. Now, can we get on with our other work and put this to rest? Thanks. John
