There is an expansion option for the 7000 switcher, but it is not a board swap. It requires a number items like a 64x64 router that goes on the front end and version 6 software. I also think you need to upgrade you CPU card in the switcher to make it work. This option gives you 60 inputs, 27 aux outputs and the ability to have any source go to the DSK keyers. Warren

Hello, Never heard of an expansion board, but I believe we had an output of 2 Auxes physically cabled to one DMK's Vid/Key inputs...Auxes 10 and 11 if I remember correctly. I want to say we made them a vid/key pair, so that you only routed Aux 10 and the key would follow out Aux 11. Not sure if there was a line shift from going through the Aux. If I remember correctly, all the auxes are on one region, so this may not work for what you are trying to do. I would guess that we took these auxes out of the region that controls auxes ( user I think...but could be wrong) This was a few years ago so I am sorry I don't remember exactly. I no longer work on this switcher, or else I would look at it and see what was done. Hope this helps. -Curt
