Hi!

Does anyone know if you can use a Lance TDC-100 in Odetics mode on a server using the "Advanced Media Protocol (AMP)" with RS-422 interface. It is supposed to be an exstenision of the Odetics protocol.

/Carl

I am pretty sure unless he has written a code for AMP, that it won't work. It is similar but still different enough from odetics that I doubt it will work. I know other boxes that do odetics are not compatible with AMP. If you have a Kalypso and want to run AMP, the Kalypso will do AMP through machine control. Although it is an option for the software, I am using it now with a GVG turbo DDR, and it works great, and no more 8 character limit. Bill
