So, I'm going to be in town for NAB next year (on another gig), and I've never been there. I can't find any prices to attend on the website but I imagine it's not free to get in. Can anyone clue me in on some specifics? Thanks.
yeah, i'm set on the hotel, since i'll be working while i'm there. If anyone has any specific hook-ups on who to contact about getting one of those codes, I'd sure appreciate it... who else is going, by the way?
often you can check various manufacturers web sites and they sometimes have forms online that you can fill out to be a guest of theirs at NAB.. of course you'll probably gets spammed like crazy, but you'll save the entrance fee..

Eric, Don't pay.. There are codes to get either from manufactures, etc, or if you went year before they give it to you for nothing. There might even be stuff in magazines, etc. If you have any connections with vendors (maybe even truck companies, etc) They may get these codes, that you punch in when you register online. Get hotel sooner then later. The Hilton is right there, and is a minimal walk after walking all day. Save receipts.. tax deduction.. I got a code form manufacture first year, and was able to get free pass following year. So poke around :) And wear good shoes, damn my feet hurt later
