I have a lot of stills and animation on my Kalypso that I want to backup. I have not used thumb drives before, and I am not sure if they would work for this situation. Any info that I can get will be great. Thanks.
Bill, I mean space on the drive's case to write a name with a Sharpie or pen.
Hahah.. that is what I thought, but wasn't sure. I have one 256mg, that I have manuals on, as well as effects, still has a lot of room. Of course if you start throwing stills on it.. Bill

Kalypso SS, Basketball, etc, etc Bill

Thumb drives do work, however for animations it can take a while. Buy a good brand and large capacity. The only downside is that there is virtually no place on a thumb drive to label the contents. A simple text file could be used. Another option is a networked PC/laptop. Save them to the hard drive on that machine.
