Hi guys...

Just wondering if anyone else has experienced any menu-panel lock-ups on the DVS-9000? I've noticed that ours locks-up from time to time after one of us has frozen and stored a frame-mem. After the lock-up and subsequent reboot, the frame-mem that was being saved at the time of the crash is there, and is in no way corrupted.

Also, is there a way to reset the menu panel if there is a lock-up WITHOUT taking down the switcher panel?

Best,
Matt

We have a 8000A and our menu panel seems to lock up about every two weeks. After a re-boot everything seems to be fine. We are running a 10 sec. animation from the frame mems. I tihnk Matt may be on to something with the frame mems. Has this happened to anyone else besides Matt and myself? If so, what is the best solution?

I found that our frame memory was getting fussy as we approached 215 frames (the original frame limit on the MVS-8000 was 222), while we should be able to handle 444 on the DVS-9000. In any event, I've just been better managing the frame-memory and haven't seen this lock-up happen again. Coincidence? Perhaps. I'm not going to worry about it, especially with the 8000G on it's way shortly! MS
