Has any one run out of transforms on the Kalypso? Easy fix is when making an effect using transforms just add an extra key frame turning off the effect send buttons and that will free up your transforms.
Is there any hardware that allows for more than 6 transforms? I would love to be able to send every keyer to a t-form at the same time. Not that I would use it very often but it would be a nice option. I've never done a 12-box effect... or a 16-box but election coverage sometimes gets out of control in Portland!
Please do not even joke about something like this around producers, they may think it is cool. Seriously, back when the Kalypso was designed a dual twin DVEous was standard and I can't think of any switcher that had internal DVE capabilities at that time.

Max transforms on Kalypso is 6. Maybe an external box? Or the G frame

You only have three transforms. The menu shows 6, because you can have up to six, but that doesn't mean you have 6 channels installed. The hardware comes in two cards of three and a lot of studios/trucks only buy one card.

I have run out of transforms plenty recently. In my engineering menu it says that I have 6 transforms, yet I can only access 3 at once. Am I doing something wrong, or is it pairing 2 of them at a time...
