Hello....having some issues, well more like some questions about the clear working buffer function on the 8000 ( rev 5.42)

is it "normal " that when you quickly press ( maybe 4 times ) the clear working buffer button, that it takes you back to sony default? Doing some changes the key signal for the external DME's back to "INT"...which basically puts full white on the keys channel.

I have set the initial status to have ext be the key input for the DME's as recommended by a fellow TD...which seems to work except when I hit the CWB too many times. I was wondering if there is another step I need to do to pgm this CWB to not go to factory.

Thank you

Curt

Update.... I didn't realize until a Sony rep pointed out to me that you have to define the initial status for all levels, it isn't a global settting. I had never defined it for the DME's..so that is why it popped back when I used clear work buffer multiple times. Operator error on my part.
