Hello,

I am wondering if I am doing something wrong, or if this is just the way it is designed.

I am trying to recall F/K frame memory grabs using a user effect.

Have User 5 assigned to FM 1/2.

Have a KF for user 5. Call up a FM F/K pair in the menu ( have to select "pair") and hit MOD.

When I MOD it kicks off Pair each time. It doesn't latch the PAIR button. Recalling w/ the pair lit causes it to go dark.

I can learn two effects w/ two different fm pages...and they recall correctly, as it should. But the pair keeps going dim.

So each time I want a Fill/Key pair, I have to go back and select PAIR?

I would like to be able to select fill/key pairs without having to select "pair" each time. During a show, I want to be able to quickly recall FM pages...but both F/K...

Is there a setting I missed to have the pair "latch" and stay on...or is the behavior to always return to the "pair" being unlit after a MOD.

thank you

Curt

I read that version 7.0 will allow for menu-oriented macros. Maybe those macros will make things easier for you when the software is released.

Bob, thanks for the response. Isn't a huge deal..but more a "gotcha" in the middle of the show. We are going to use FM for crosstalk locators...so we may be calling up some presaved ones on the fly. Just something we will get used to. thanks again Curt

Wow, if there IS a setting to stop the Pairing from turning off, I sure haven't found it - I have always had the exact same issue, and I'm running 6.10. I assumed it was just one of the idiosyncracies on the switcher that you have to deal with.
