Anyone have issues with storing and recalling things such as Memories and Bus Maps? I have made my own bus map and color coded the buttons, three different colors for cameras, tape like sources then graphic like sources, but when i save and recall, i get the bus map that everyone has and all the buttons are one color.

the other thing is, when i build something and i want to store it to my USB, I have an effect with a move so i save the sequence, store all 3 MLEs and "incd DVE" then store on whatever number. The earlier stuff that I had built and saved recalls the proper sequence once i recall the effect. Now, for some reason, when i go to recall the thing i just saved, i unload the sequence, because i want to see it do what its supposed to do, then i recall the effect, the effect will come up with the dve buttons lit and a "no sequence loaded" warning when i try to run it. anyone else have this problem or these problems before?

Hey Brian, I FINALLY got my first wipe with an animation trigger and undercut to work how i wanted it to. literally, it must have been the 35th time I tried failed deleted and tried again before it worked. Im excited because with as young as i am at work i am moving into the lead position at my station to build the new look. when we put the new switcher in we are going with all new graphics and transitions and im basically the only one who knows how the switcher works between the 5 of us. so Im excited, im learning really fast on it and getting one step at a time closer to my goal of being able to freelance.

Yes, thanks Brian, the Trainer just left today and she cleared all that up for me. She was awesome answered every single concern, I can actually say I know HOW to do everything there is on this board now, now if I could only DO everything on this board. (Custom Controls kicking my ass, Im a rookie with the CCs)

The color assigned to each input is stored in the installation file, so make sure you save and recall that if you want the button colors to be saved. The choice of which panel bus map to use is stored in the Personality file I believe. and then the actual mapping of sources to buttons is saved in the 'bus maps' file.. yes, its a little complicated. So for what you are trying to do, you should save/recall Bus Maps, Personality, and Installation files; or just do a Save All and Restore All.. The INCL DVE button is only used for External DVE integration and has nothing to do with the internal DVEs, so don't worry about that button. When you build a sequence make sure you go to the sequence menu and go to Load/Save menu (F1 in the sequence menu) and save the sequence into one of the unused (or used) slots. Then Store the memory. The sequence itself does not get saved in the memory, only a pointer to the sequence that was loaded is stored in the memory, so if you don't save the sequence first, then recalling the memory will not bring it back.. I hope this makes sense to you.. Brian
