Just wondering..how many of you would insist your crew to shut down the CCU, before the triax is plugged outta the camera?

Or do you just shut down the camera end and feel free to pull out the Triax?

It depends on what camera and CCU. On most it is OK to cal the camera and pull BUT on some older cameras it was recommended to have video cal the camera and then kill head power on the tub, then the camera op could pull. Of course video would then have to watch for a connection before they powered the head. Then there was the Ikegami HL-45... After I killed several cards in various tubs we realized what we were told by Ikegami was incorrect and that tub had to be powered down before pulling the camera.
