So, my client's truck that we were supposed to use this weekend in Baltimore got into an accident, and I just found out we've last-minute-replaced it with MetroVision 5, which has a Ross Synergy 100 MD on it. Looking at it quickly on the website, it looks... uh.... small, is kindest term I can think of for it.

Anyone have any experience with this thing and care to share? It can't be too hard to figure out, but I'm wondering about storing stills/animations on it, using the internal DVE - simple, or a pain in the ass? There's probably no timelines, macros, or machine control available, right? any clue-ins on pitfalls and shortcuts for this thing would be greatly appreciated.

That System does not do Sequences yet. You might be stuck with a Wipe or Dissolve to a "replay Still" on the internal Still store then to the Replay angle. No Device control or Macros. You do have Emems and the DVE is pretty easy to use for Boxes. Ross says next month that unit will get all of the DVE Effects that the 1 thru 4 models have.
