All,

I'm trying to record several transitions into the Frame Memory that I'd like instant access to. The only problem is that my plant is running 720p/59.94 and I think the Frame Memory is recording 29.97. When I play the animations back, they are a little jumpy but nothing too terrible. No one (directors or producers) have said anything yet but I'm just preparing for the inevitable. My question is how exactly can I change the frame rate at which the Frame Mem clip record function records at?

Thanks in advance!

-Allan

Everything is hitting the switcher at 720p/59.94. When we play any animation straight up, it's fine. It's just when we record it into the frame mem and play it back. I've torn through every menu I can find as well as the manual and can't find the answer.

Allan, What are you feeding it? I assume everything you are feeding it is native HD... I can try something on the one switcher here to test...although all my gfx devices are upconverted SD sources..( EVS and Thunder...).. I can't remember any settings about FM frame rate... -Curt

The switcher is set to the correct frame rate and has definitely been rebooted since that rate was set. I'm stumped...

Allan, No idea but I would think the switcher needs to be booted up with that frame rate, and then FM would follow, but this is just a guess
