Hello All!

I'v got a problem with 2M/E KayakDD. When I create a macro using SidePanel, it works perfectly while current application is running. But I when I'm saving current application to the hard disk, the macros aren't saved. I can copy macros from any saved application to the active one, and they will appear in the macros list and work ok. But if I save this active application to the disk, the macros are lost. They remain in the active application, but disappear in the saved copy. If I load saved application brought from another Kayak, the macros are lost - they disappear from saved application and don't appear in the active one. It happens only with one of the Kayaks, the others work ok. It's running 688.6 and 691.5 firmware, both do the same. Sorry if it's FAQ, but search did not return any appropriate results.

Thanks a lot!

Hi Konstantin, Is it the same if you load the appli with a USB-Stick? And are you sure that the IP-Addresses from both panels are the same? If you look on your hard-drive into the appli folder (c:ProgrammeDD35Applixxx), can you see a folder called "CP1" or "CP2" ...., in this folder should be another folder called "UPK", can you see here some files (before and after the loading process)? Best regards Jochen

Hi Jochen! I'm sure the network is ok, Windows firewall is off, and Sidepanel connects to the Kayak MF and CP flawlessly. The miracle is that ALL the application components can be saved to the Harddisk, except the macros. And if I bring good application file set from another Kayak, Sidepanel or (?) CP firmware kills all stored macros and macro attachments while loading files into the current application, so they disappear both from the harddisk and from CP. Amazing... Hi Konstantin, there could be some reason for this. First could you check the network. Be sure that, for example, the firewall if not active and that the TFTP-sever (Windows START - DD35 - TFTP-server) is running. Then can you check the IP-Addresses of the system. Within the application the IP-Addresses are stored. You can see them when you open the device.ini file from the application. (C:ProgrammeDD35Appli) If this IP's will not fit to the IP's to your Kayak, the Marcros will not be loaded. I hope this help's Best regards Jochen
