dpm not seen on ME

recently our kayak 2dd switcher just reset itself when the touch screen menu just went blank.when it came back up the dpm in the ME was not working. the delegated key source would be seen but when dpm is selected only the background would be seen.(ie the key source goes off (video))

thanks matt we reset the board and nothing happened but you said hard reset,so we reset the mainframe and it solved the problem.thanks.

i tried all of the above and still no avail.the pgm bank works ok but the ME is still out of order.

1. Try turning off the control panel and chasis after a crash like that - give the switcher a hard restart. 2. What version of software are you using? 3. Did you try reseting the DPM to its defaults or recalling another DPM effect? It sounds like the keyer is just positioned off the screen. Under the DPM menu - Misc - Set to defaults - All parameters. This will reset DPM values to their defaults. 4. The DPM's are software options. One time I had a keyer slightly off center, but it didn't make any sense because that keyer did not DPM capability. I looked, and was amazed, because the DPM button was lit up. I pressed the DPM button to turn it off, and the keyer went back to normal. Unfortunately, I have never found a way to get this "free" transform engine back.
