Did anyone see that NEP and NCP will be one company? From what I saw/heard the two companies will be run separately but one wonders how long that will last.

It'd be nice for them to have 5 HD trucks that can do single day shows without the requirement of a set day. I'm not saying NEP can't, but they sure make it tough when every show is starting from scratch. It's great they have amazing flexibility, but many of their trucks lack a "default." You can't just walk in and start working without first filling out a router sheet, advising the engineer which Kalypso outs to use (in some of their trucks), etc... It's not a knock on that NEP big show mentality, but there is definitely a need for an NCP style of high quality trucks on smaller to medium sized shows. That's also not a knock on NCP which does some pretty big shows as well. This deal is really a big contrast compared to the NMT deal where a lot of their trucks needed an NEP overhaul. Guess the big question is, who's our next contestant in merger mania?[/quote]
