How do I split an ME on a 9000 and feed each output back into the switcher as a source?

Only the MVS-8000A and MVS-8000G have this feature. The DVS-9000 does have a simple Multi-PGM output though which will allow you to have a common background but change the key assignments on each of the 4 PGM streams from each full M/E. If you want you can also assign one of the utility buses as a background but you won't get an independant transition, if that's what you're looking for. You accomplish all this in the ENG SETUP->SWITCHER->CONFIG menu. first you have to turn Multi-PGM on for the M/E you want it on. Then you define the 6 outputs for each M/E (i.e. set OUT5 to be PGM2). then you define what PGM2 really is (background and keyers, etc). RE
