Hey guys -- has anybody been able to find a BTN element that's a sort of double box that would allow me to place a tape machine (a coach interview, etc.) over game action (with bug)? I've found the split screen and in-studio double/quad boxes but that's not what I'm looking for. I guess this is something I might just have to create on my own (perhaps something in the lower left) but it'd be nice to brand it BTN (that and I'm not sure how much the boys in Chicago would appreciate me making something like that on the fly.) Thoughts?

D'oh! Now you tell me! I think I'm doing my last BTN bball game in a week! Send it to me anyway, I'll add it to the file. BTW - does it have the elements they want you to use, or the ones you actually used?

I've got the gymnastics show today in IA today and there's no interest in it at the mo'. BTW - one thing I'd love from BTN is a list of FF/CS elements for each sport so I don't spend half an hour looking through the Xfile for elements with the EVS op for which elements to copy over.

Why are you building the elements? Shouldn't THEY do that? Tell the producer and have them tell the graphics people to build it. That way, it meets whatever rules the graphics gods have and no one gets heat for "not paying attention to the style book." Hate to sound like a grump, but are you getting paid to put your backside on the line to create elements?

I don't think anything like that exists. I created a box along the lines of what you are talking about for gymnastics and the producer was almost sold on using it. I think the boys in Chicago would appreciate the effort. There will be a demand for this element come baseball season for the dugout interviews. Might as well practice and see what you can come up with now rather then having to pull something together on your first baseball show. Good luck! Courtney
