It would also be nice if you can make an attachment offline in the GUI. As it is now have call up macro on the panel, then hit the preference button for macro attach and then hit pre and the button you want to attach. Pretty impossible to do while on the air. I nice menu for this would be great :) thanks
I am told that V7.2 (NAB) will have a "live" mode for menu attach. You'll be able to assign while live without the target button actually doing anything. I'll try to get more info RE
That would be a nice feature, not sure if this would be menu driven or still work off the panel. Either way doing an attachment is a little clunky, I think a menu would help a little. Maybe left column pick your macro from a list, right column pick ME, and button, etc. There was talk a while ago about macro's into timelines was coming soon as well, that would be nice.
That's also in 7.2 RE

Thanks Sean...that worked...but could'nt Sony have figured out a less tedious way for this process? Like within the macro menu page having a macro assign or an attachment assign button? To seperate the Macro's from the Menu Macros seems silly and they can only be built from the menu panel. I dont know...food for thought

As far as I know the menu macro has to be put in a macro (event #38 in offline edit) then attach that macro.
