I have my Kayak hooked up to a video editor and I want to match frame and slide off the video to reveil the new backround using the built in DPM transforms. At the edit point I get a frame delay or a glitch when the keyed source is the same as the pgm video ! I understand the one frame DPM buffer but is there a work around for this issue ? thanks

All DVE's, whether internal or external create some sort of video delay. Used to be a lot worse before digital switchers came out. To get rid of that, have your previous edit already in the DPM. Or like Big O says, cheat your in-point by 1 frame. --- Dan

Can't you just cheat your in point by a frame to compensate?

Depending on how much motion is in the source video, you may be able to to hide the "jump" a little by doing a quick dissolve between the clean source and the transformed source.
