Hi All,

I am going to spend some time playing with a Kayak next week. It will basicly just be me and the manual, so I was wondering if anyone had any insight on working with the switcher. I have experience with a zodiak and a 1200 But I know the kayak is more thomson than grass so that experience may not even help! :) Anyway... any tips to make my time as effient as possible would be great.

Have a great weekend Guys!

It would be very useful to have the sidepanel software on a conencted PC, it has a, well, definitely strange interface (it's the software used for the Philips XtenDD switcher), but you can check out complex timelens with it. With older software on the switcher, it also required for many configuration items, such as naming inputs and the like. I like the Kayak, transition from GVG 200 to it was ratehr easy for me years ago. It is a simple and powerful switcher for its class.
