I am having trouble getting the key signal to follow the fill signal when I manually change a key source on the kayak. If I do it in the menu I have no problem. I am confident that I have the key signal assigned correctly in the Config menu. Am I missing a step? I need to be able to change keyers on the fly and the menu is to slow a method to do this.

Is it a key memory issue? Your problem sounds similar to one I had when setting up the Kayak for the first time. I needed to turn key memory off for things to work properly on our board. Hope this helps!

I have it set up as a linear key. I'll have to check out the self and split settings. SCott

Do you have the two buttons in the Keyers palatte pressed that say "self" and "split" because together they make "couple." Also is it setup as luminance linear?
