We are running Kalypso 14.0.1 and have noticed all of a sudden when we call up a source on the shifted side it no longer flashes denoting that the shift side of a crosspoint is activated. For the life of me, can not find an option to turn that on or off. any sujestions? It did used to work fine.. and we havent updated anything in over a year.

Resetting the panel fixed the problem. And we drained the RAM while we were at it. Using inputs on both sides of the Kalypso often, having the flashing feature is a big comfort for a TD

The crosspoint flashing has never been a shift designator. It simply means that the selected crosspoint is opposite of that bus' shift preference, which is set up in the Daily Setups/User Prefs/Shift Prefs menu. Most people run their buses in Unshifted mode, so selecting a shifted crosspoint causes the flash - but if the bus preference is set up as Shifted, selecting an unshifted crosspoint causes the flash. So I'd agree that you take a look at the Shift Prefs for the buses that you're no longer seeing the expected flashing. That's the most likely cause. If that doesn't solve the problem, try resetting the frame...that often solves a lot of unexpected behaviors.
