Truck specs list no spot box, but lists a FFV Omega. I'm assuming this is the HD Omega. Can anyone confirm?
Thanks.

Comcast, Trio and a few others upconvert FF's and it doesn't suck. Of course a Spotbox is great but that isn't in the cards all the time. Hopefully the FF is wired properly, with aspect converters on the input, otherwise you have to play games squeezing the video you want to feed the box. Before you start loading confirm with the EIC.

Thanks Glen for the quick reply. We will use all the EVS's so I wanted to make sure the client was OK with the upconvert on the FF. How does that really look?

It is not an HD Omega. They upconvert an original FFV to be 16:9. That being said, they don't list a spotbox, but have the capability to do spotbox if requested by the client and not all the EVS boxes are being used. It is a good truck, great engineers.
