Hello!

Last weekend I had a two day show and had an issue with my Profile clips.

I created a new clip to load on the A&B channels for keyable elements, then created a second clip for the C channel to run a looping background. I created my clips, named them, then loaded my elements from tape.

The clips were definitely in the default directory and appeared in the list of already existing clips on the Profile. I recorded my keyable clip on the A channel and loaded it across to the B channel, so everything seemed to be fine. I had no problems during the show.

The truck had to power down overnight. When I came in the next morning, my clips were not in the "default" directory. After bouncing back and forth a couple times into the "recycled" directory, they all of a sudden showed up. I loaded them and ran everything with no issues from the recycled directory for day 2... but it's a little unnerving that I almost lost my clips.

Any ideas as to what might have happened? Is there a step I missed when creating my clips?

Thanks!

- Kim

Never heard of that one. You could have protected the clips in VDR panel. Also could have dragged it from recycle bin back into the default directory. No idea why they moved.
