Hi All, I am new to GVG switcher. I would like to know what is the function of
"Key Drop" in the panel. I did read the manual but seems what it is not well explained.

Thanks a lot.

I know news TDs who like to have it ON for program/preset (I'm not one of them, but I can see the logic). The theory being if you get jammed up and need to lose everything fast--a hot punch will take of it fer ya. Sean

When ON what happens is if you cut to another source just by punching the new button delegated keyers will automatically get turned off. Example. you are on PGM bus with key1 on and key drop turned on for key 1. If you cut to another source, you do not preset it and use the transition section, then as you cut to the new source, key1 will get turned off or dropped. I don't use it in sports but someone must use it for it to be included.
