Hi all.

Using a GVG 3000.

I want to take the key signal of the frame store and use it to grab and hold a picture still (no alpha channel key signal), doubling the sources from 4 to 8 picture stills.

This I understand how to do, but what I need help on is:

1.) Mapping an aux bus to accept sources to grab on the key side.

2.) Mapping on the switcher the key side as a source to take online.

Thanks in advance!
Thanks for the quick reply. Is there a way to map the key store 4b to aux 3 (UNshifted)? I can't try your tecnique right now because of breaking news, but I'll try what you've already suggested later. Thanks!
No software only allows aux 4 on both 3K and 4K

Aux 4A is your video grab, Aux 4B (shifted side) is your key grab. Make sure Lock To Video is OFF so it doesn't change the key side when you change the video.

Thanks for the info. I have done what you've asked, but here is where I am lost... I went into config > aux bus format and changed aux 4b from key to video (makes sense). I have remapped a crosspoint on the shift side and selected key store as the video source. What I have a problem doing now is how do I set up a aux bus delegate to select that I want aux 4 (or say, another aux, such as aux 3) as the ROUTING source for selecting a source, then grabbing it. I would guess under this configuration, I would be grabbing as a still the video source on aux 4 as both the video and key source? Thanks again!

Interesting thing is you cant do this on a 4K. Aux 4b is always key

For the first part what you want to do is go to CONFIG> AUX BUS FORMAT and then change aux 4b from KEY to VIDEO. As for mapping, just map the KEY STORE as a video source on any crosspoint.
