I picked up a FSC soccer event and was wondering if anyone had any tips. Lots of effects? Do they use old gear?

Thanks
Greg

there was a tele but it didn't hit air once, I was told they hardly use it and were considering dumping it all together. we had no clean feed out of the truck, the host school wanted something for their in house cable but we just feed them truck program.

Greg, Thanks a million for setting my mind at ease. I'm pretty sure that's the gear I'm going to get, and always get worried they want a big show out of the 3K. Did you have to provide a clean feed to MLS and was there a tele in the mix. Thanks again, Greg

Greg, I did some FSC soccer last year, most of the shows were on a 3000 with a FF. Your CG will generate the bug on channel 2 and they used channel 1 for everything else. Between halfs you may have some CG crosses. If I remember I had 12 effects total that included opens, caps, pre pro. In game was a piece of cake only two effect used in game. replay in and out. The close (if I remember was a little tricky) it keyed on and you had to add a copyright. I wasn't ready for it the first show. Also depending who you get your director may also be the producer. The guy I worked with was really cool and kept things simple. here is a link to their graphics page I had although you can no longer access the package you may be able to look at the demo and get more info hope this helps greg

Greg ... the New England crewers are great (I used to live up that way, too), and they'll get you as much information as they can. One word of warning though: if the shows are regional or are smaller in scale, they are more likely to swap trucks on you. I can't remember how many times they surprised me with a different truck, or a truck that just had a new switcher installed. Good times! You'll be fine, but I felt that I needed to toss that out there so you wouldn't be surprised if it happened... Matt

Michelle, That would really be great!! I'm moving to your market. Do the clients actually do that out there. I asked my crewer for truck details last week and she says "I think we're on RBI 7" I don't think it is a big show. I'm sure it will be fine, I've just gotten spoiled working on the same truck all summer. Thanks for the reply, happy punching

You need to ask your crewer to get the info/production requirements from the client that way you won't be surprised.
