Hi. I want to build a pre-macro on a Kayak, which I've not used before. Basically, I want to be able to have some cameras on my program bank bring up the gfx source, and other cameras to be clean - and I assume I need to use a pre macro to do this.

Can anyone assist with the procedure? I assume I assign a pre-macro to the camera crosspoint on the program bus, but looking through the Kayak manual, something this simple in theory looks a bit complicated.....

It is that straightforward. Build your macro, hold down the button where you recorded the macro and then the button you want to attach it to. The camera crossponit in your case. The key to making it work is the "Macro attachment playmode" in the switcher. You shuold have it set to "Function and macro", otherwise the macro won?t play. It?s under "Personality" inte the sidepanel I think.
