I recorded a 2 second animation on the still store (split keying fill and key). I ganged the fill and key succesfully, but when I key the still store and play it back I noticed the key signal is not 100% white. Therefore the fill is not at 100% full opacity. The very same clip playing out of the Spencer keys just fine. How do I fix this? Thanks for your help.

Thanks John, that worked There must be a permanent solution. Maybe the V/K pair is not set at full opacity. I don't record many animations in the still store so I won't make a big deal out of it. Thanks for the help. I really appreciate it.

I had this same problem awhile back. I made the keyer Adj. Linear and set the high at 80% and the low at 15%. This is just a quick fix.

Is the video level of the white source at 100%? Are the black levels normal? Are you using linear key on the switcher vs. luminance key? Is there some kind of filter you let on when grabbing the animation?
