Hi,

We just took delivery of our MVS-8000G and trying to set it up.

A quick questions. Is it possible to have every M/E's Program Bus to have the High-Tally lit up?

Currently only the P/P's source have red tally output. Is it possible for every M/E to have the high-tally for the sources selected?

Thanks.

First, go to menu page 7333 (Switcher Outputs). This is where you determine which resource goes to which output on the back of the frame. Assign your various M/E's to some of these outs. For this example I will use M/E 1 to output #11, M/E 2 to output #12, M/E 3 to output #13, & P/P to output #14: Next go to Menu 7364 (Router/Tally Enable). Here you can go to each enable & assign a destination & tally type to each enable. In the examples I gave above, Enable #1 might be destination OUT14 (for P/P), Level 1, Tally Type R1 (for RED), Enable set to ENABLE. Enable #2 could be destination OUT11 (M/E 1), Enable #3 could be destination OUT12 (M/E 2), and Enable #4 could be OUT13 (M/E 3) - Levels, Tally Types & Enables get set to what you did for P/P. Use either the NEW or MODIFY sub-menus to set these parameters. In this way, all of your M/E's will cause On-Air Tallies.
