Hi. I'm working on a Sony 8000a. Under 'Snapshot', then 'Attribute', then 'Clip Event' (6321.2), I'm trying to set the current event (on the left) as the clip on the right hand side. Normally, you would choose a clip, which I have, and hit 'Set', and the event will show up on the left hand side. You can then select 'auto play'.

However, when I hit 'Set', nothing happens. The left hand side remains empty, and the 'Clip event' and 'Auto Play' buttons underneath are gray.... meaning, not selectable. The books say very little about this menu. Can anyone help? What am I doing wrong?

THANKS!!

Try creating the snapshot first then set the attributes and restore the snapshot.

which region are you trying to do this on? you can only set clip events to the user region(s) that control your frame mem channels. for example, in my shop, user 5 talks to fm's 1 and 2. if i create a user 5 snapshot with a clip event, i can't recall a clip event in fm 7 and 8 with user 5. i can only recall a clip event in fm 1 and 2 with user 5. if you're working in a region that controls the corresponding fm channels, all those buttons you're talking about will work. does that help at all? -allan
