3000 sources changed in button mapping

has anyone ever set their button mapping and later the sources have changed ...is the button mapping effected by emems?and coulde eng patching cause such a thing?

Only if you load a different config file. E-mems can't change it. There is no virtual source patching menu like on the Kalypso. If by patching you mean moving video patches around in the patch bay, then yes, your physical source will change of course.
