I have a Fast Forward and a DVEous both using P-Bus and I would like the FFW on DPM 2 and the DVEous on DPM 1. I can't seem to figure out how to seperate them. I can assign my FFW to whatever DPM I want but the DVEous follows. I have tried a few things but no luck. I know that this should be very easy but I cant seem to figure it out. Any ideas?

You can do that on a Kalypso, but you can't do it on a 3000/4000.

CPL is a much better interface. If for some reason you have it or want to add it, you just have to make some connections and make sure some menus are setup on both dveous and switcher. Then DPM 1 would be CPL, could make DPM 2 auxes 1-4 that feed DVEous, then DPM 3 or 4 for P-bus. This is assigned in some menu under P-bus I think, more of a setup not where you do the triggers, been a few years. If you want to add CPL, you can probably do a thread search on GVG or DVEous or forum and find a ton of info.

Ok, that's what I thought but I had one TD tell me that you could and one tell me that you couldn't. Perhaps he doesn't use P-Bus. I guess it would be possible if I used CPL?

Because both the Deveous and FF will be triggered by P-Bus, you have to have them on the same DPM. You simply have to turn the 'Device ON' or off for whichever device you want to control within the given effect (or timeline). It's been a while since I worked on a 3/4k, but I believe its in the E-Mem->PeriphDevices menu.
